Madan Lal Saraswat a Masters in Commerce took his degree in Law in the year 1977 From Guru Ghasidas University, Bilaspur (C.G.). He started his career as a consultant of Sales Tax and allied laws in the year 1977. Since he witnessed the changes in law from Sales Tax to Commercial Tax then to Value Added Tax and finally Goods & Service Tax and helped his clients to cruise through the changes in legislation one after the another. His contribution to law practice and his command over the subject fetched him the coveted post of Government Advocate – Commercial Tax Department, Chhattisgarh to represent the department both in Board of Revenue, Chhattisgarh and C.G. Commercial Tax Tribunal.
